Beach Volleyball as a Way of Life

This project began with the dream of a young man from Castellón in the summer of 2019, who always envisioned making a living from what he loves most: Beach Volleyball. What started as a simple dream gradually became a reality; word spread, and before we knew it, we had created a small family.

What began spontaneously grew into a community of about 60 people in the winter and 100 during the summer months. By 2020, it was clear that people were becoming increasingly passionate about learning, prompting a group of enthusiasts to establish a formal Beach Volleyball Club to offer a more professional experience.

The Kzero12 Mission

The project Kzero12 is an ambitious project dedicated to promoting Beach Volleyball as a lifestyle, 12 months a year, for players of all levels.

Our mission is to popularize the sport as a healthy way of life, taking full advantage of our ideal beach locations and the exceptional year-round climate our region offers.

The meaning of "Kzero12" represents the DNA of our academy

  • TACTICAL

    Beach volleyball is a sequential sport where different game situations are called "complexes" or simply "K." There are two main complexes:

    • KI: The sequence of actions used to neutralize the opponent's serve (Side-out).
    • KII: The sequence of actions used to neutralize the opponent's attack (Defense/Transition).
    • K0: This is the execution of the serve. While technically part of KII, we believe the serve deserves its own spotlight due to its impact on the game. K0 is the foundation of our image and philosophy.

  • LEVELS

    We use the three digits in our name to represent player progression:

    • Level 0 (Initiation): For those starting their journey on the sand.
    • Level 1 (Improvement): For players refining their technique and consistency.
    • Level 2 (Competition): For advanced players focused on high-level performance.

  • THE "12" MONTHS PHILOSOPHY

    The "12" Months Philosophy Castellón is the perfect setting for beach volleyball. While many see it as a summer-only sport, Kzero12 promotes the lifestyle 12 months a year, taking advantage of our Mediterranean climate to play all year round.
